Career counselors work one-on-one with job seekers to provide individualized services and support with job searches, exploration or career development. Career counselors help to develop a career plan for each client based on a client's educational background, work history, career goals and barriers to employment.
If you are uncertain about the best career option, CDC can be invaluable in helping you investigate the various possibilities. CDC counselors evaluate individual interests, abilities, values, and preferences. To do so, we utilize comprehensive interviews and assessment tools such as the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and the Strong Inventory.
CDC clients can access the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and Strong Inventory tests online. A CDC counselor will provide clients with login information. Click here to begin.
